Aspyre Lab was built on a simple conviction: the most important decisions parents make are often the least informed — not because parents don't care, but because the science was locked behind academic paywalls, written in jargon, and never translated into practical guidance.

We set out to change that. Aspyre Lab brings together developmental science, epigenetics, and neuroscience research and translates it into stage-specific, actionable education for parents who want to do more than guess.

Aspyre Lab is fronted by two experts — each a specialist for their developmental domain and backed by a team doing the grunt work

Dr Sarah

Dr Sarah is Aspyre Lab's early childhood specialist — warm, nurturing, and deeply grounded in the science of the first five years. Her expertise spans prenatal epigenetics, infant neurodevelopment, attachment theory, and the language acquisition window.

Her voice is characterised by accessible science and emotional attunement. She meets parents exactly where they are — without judgement, without overwhelm, and without the false urgency that dominates so much parenting content. Her goal is always the same: give you the clearest possible picture of what the research says, and what it means for the decisions you're making right now.

Dr Mateo

Dr Mateo is Aspyre Lab's adolescent development and performance specialist — direct, evidence-focused, and consistently results-oriented. His domain spans middle childhood executive function, tween neurological transition, and the complex adolescent developmental arc through age 18.

He does not soften findings to make parents feel comfortable. He does not replace clear scientific conclusions with empty reassurance. If the evidence says something matters, he says so. If it doesn't, he says that too. Parents who work with Dr Mateo get precisely the information they need — nothing more, nothing less.
